computer and laptop problems is what i fix i have been in this from 8 years old. Some common errors that you can fix yourself and don’t need computer or laptop engineer. What can you fix yourself.

Q windows cannot fix defrag your computer becuase there is no space.

A You have to delete some files on your computer if you need all the files back them up to DVD and put them on there temp untill you defrag or just use the DVD when you need that item.

Q windows has just recovered from a serious error

A ok this is more of an alert to an error turn your pc or laptop off again and restart if your still getting that error it time to call you computer tecky

Q the hosts file will not change it says do you want a new one

A to change the hosts file you need adminastrator privledges so just simply re open notepad and you will be able to change it.

Q a program canot peform becuase you dont have administrato privladges

A you need to right click the program and run it as adminstrator

Q Windows has changed your clock

A it does this for you for daylight savings etc its not an error just a message to let you know

Q Windows canot delete the file as it is write protected or in use

A you get this from time to time you can’t delete a document that is in use come out of the application first. if it’s protected it needs the read only attribute taking off find the file right click to properties and untick the read only box

Q cyclic redundancy check (CRC) error is reported when trying to copy a file or read a file

A you have problems with the media you are using if it’s a CD or DVD its probably scratched or has loads of smudge prints on it. You can do much more than wiping the disk  you have to make sure you look after CDs and DVDs and USB drives. you can also get this problem with files not downloaded properly and bad software.

Q Google Chome hes dead jim

A just restart you Google internet browser  you ran out of memory or something or other crashed it.
